It appears that famed English pagan-rock band Inkubus Sukkubus is to play Adelaide on August 6th at the Dom Polski centre, accompanied by local pagan-rock band Spiral Dance. Early birds can get tickets by sending $20/ticket in cheque or mail order to: Ken Howard RedWolf Productions c/- Post Office Cockatoo Valley SA 5351 or you can wait and book through Venuetix and pay more money. I wonder who get's to play The Rape of Maude Bowen...

You will be missed. Although if you inform me where the convocation of orcs will occur I shall see when they will be playing there. They would probably be amused to have people turn up in costume. Speaking of which we have a theme for the Winter Solstice. But I'm not allowed to tell anyone. Even you. Not even a hint. My lips are sealed. You can't force me to tell you a thing. Adrienne would be upset and probably set Hot For Joe on me (and most of them would probably enjoy beating me with sticks almost as much as I would enjoy the beating [1]). So ... no. Although I might have to commission some clothing from someone in the near future... [1] do you know how embarrasing it can be see to laugh because the beating that somebody is administering [2]to one tickles? Apparently it is quite off-putting. <grin> [2] I have to admit that I was probably deserving of pun-ishment for my crimes against sent(i)ence.

Aaaaaargh!!!!

I'll probably be playing bridge. Unless I don't get into any of the teams playing in Sydney that week. Which is looking very unlikely atm - as of last week, two of my rivals for the Youth team are in the top three spots to get into the Open team...

And Mum and I are coming fourth in the Women's trials.

I mean bridge-players .... ummm, errr, that's actually quite unfair to orcs as starfirephoenix would be the first to point out. Actually folk band is probably the wrong catagourisation as they really are a pagan-rock band and far closer to goth than anything else. But I'm still trying to get over some really bad goth-metal (unfortuneately mixed in with some nicely evocative stuff).

Now that would be the height of irony. An overseas group playing Adelaide and not Melbourne. <grin> Still no details of the tour on the official webpages, but I should be running into the organisers for the performance here early in less than a fortnight and I'll see what they know about what is happening in other places.
