I like the concept (although I'm not sure that Hasbro will not attempt to stomp the game on the grounds that it infringes their copyright, despite satire fair-use) of an anti-Monopoly. But I definitely love the playing pieces. Unfortunately US$125 for the game is a wee bit expensive for them...

But the Anti-Monopoly board game already exists: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Anti-Monopoly
I saw it in Big-W many years ago... never played it, though.

I actually think they can get away with it considering that there are a number of other satire games on the market and they purposefully avoid any mention of any of Hasbro's trademarks. Still Hasbro has not been shy in crushing any perceived opposition, and Anti-Monopoly only exists because the inventor and Parker Brothers came to an agreement.

Kinda cute. If I wasn't economising, I'd throw in at the $50 level, as their update says they're going with plastic, not cardboard, markers.

The problem with Kickstarter, especially for boardgames, is the extra for international shipping that usually makes it far less worthwhile. In this case it's an additional US$25. For the new edition of Evil Stevie's Ogre it's US$121 (on a US$100 game). In either case the regular distribution channels (if they get them in), are generally cheaper, since they tend to ship in bulk.
