reverancepavaneEliza Rickman [MyFace] is doing a full length album and has a Kickstarter to help her do so. Famous for her use of a toy piano, her first EP, Gilding the Lily was incredible.

Date: 2011-06-12 09:33 am (UTC)Indeed. I'm not sure if I have a favourite. I did like Black Rose and Lilly Love, but some of her new stuff with her band is quite good.
It's a pity that the US$5000 pledge is a bit beyond my means at the moment (especially if you add shipping and handling to a foreign destination for her and her band). If I was still getting paid ridiculous contractor rates it would have been very tempting. [The reward for pledging that level is that Eliza and her band play a gig at your place.]
Maybe I'll dedicate a lottery ticket to it (and be embarrassed if it won). She's a very nice lady who was rather suprised to discover that she had fans in Australia.
