I think I really want to see Simon R Green write the story of the last days of the Time War. "The Skaro Degradations, The Horde of Travesties, The Nightmare Child, The Could-Have-Been King with his army of Meanwhiles and Never-Weres ... the war turned into Hell." All good stuff and right up his alley. And with the offhand reference to the Weeping Angels could they also be Gallifrean constructs? And surprisingly for RTD, no deus ex machina (I don't count deus ex glove as this – anyone stupid enough to use even advanced alien technology against the pinnacle of Time Lord technology deserves what they get). Although the epilogue did bear his typical smaltz and self-congratulation. Roll on Stephen.
