reverancepavane: (Valerie)

This month's musical influences include Le Mystère des Chants Vikings by Swedish folk-pop group Garmana, the remaining Song-A-Day albums by Jonathon Coulton, Spellbound by German darkwave group Love is Colder Than Death, Torment by German electronic/industrial band Mechanical Moth, Nine Heavens by Californian world music (with a distinct Middle East tinge) group Niyaz, Stripped by Californian electronic-rock group Shiny Toy Guns, and the song What difference does it make from Japanese rock-metal group Versailles (who incidentally get the award for best stage costumes this month hands down). Oh yeah, and Voltaire's new CD To The Bottom Of The Sea in physical form when it finally gets released (and if anyone else wants a copy they only have a couple of days to put their order in).

Somewhere in that morass is my musical taste.

Or lack of it.

I definitely have to see about getting the rest of Garmana's albums and Versailles new album though.
