orbital elevator muzak
Jun. 23rd, 2005 03:58 pm| There is an old joke that building an orbital elevator is an engineering impossibility because no human being could possibly survive the three days of elevator muzak required for them to reach orbit. Fortuneately this is not the case with the album Music For Elevators, by Anthony Stewart Head and George Sarah, which is excellent music to reach orbit with, with or without the actual presence of an elevator. Highly reccomended. Thankyou Although I am curious why they thought the need to hide two tracks by not listing them on the cover of the CD and inserting a large pause between them and the remaining fourteen. Seems vaguely silly to me to do something like that. Oh, and it's not just "Giles" singing on the CD either. Tara, Spike, and Willow (or at least their RL alter-egos) all seem to have contributed various bits and pieces to the album, as has some idiot named Joss (two and a bit months to Serenity; not that I am counting or anything). |

How ... disappointing...
