wimbling wombling spiralling three
Jun. 21st, 2005 01:46 pm| This Saturday, Spiral Dance once again celebrates the Winter Solstice with it's annual Yule Feast. This time it's being held at the Folk Federation (corner George St and South Rd Thebarton), and the theme is a formal masked ball, so get out those evening gowns and tuxedos and hide your identity (and inhibitions) behind a mask for a while. But if you wanted to eat and you haven't booked yet ... you're too late! But you can still attend, sans being fed. Doors will open at 9:30pm for non-feasters at the low-price of $10/$8. And don't worry if you can't find any glad rags or a mask, for the pleasure of your company is to be treasured above such mundane frippery. So come along to one of the last opportunities you have of seeing Spiral Dance (this year at least) and have lots of fun dancing the night away (the longest night of the year simply means we get more time to dance it all away). And whatever makes you think I would be wearing a womble costume? Trust me, you can't get tuxedoes big enough for them to wear.... |

Date: 2005-06-20 10:11 pm (UTC)1) Masks don't fit comfortably over glasses
2) I leave loose masks behind.
3) I destroy attached but not on face masks by being unaware of my surroundings
Hence, maskless I shall be.
