Gen-Con saw the publication of Hobby Games: The 100 Best, where 100 Names in the industry selected what they considered to be the best game (they didn't write) and wrote about it. Courtesy of [livejournal.com profile] doccross we have the I've done that game too meme!

Which means that I've played 75% of the games (surprisingly high given the preponderance of ACW boardgames), owned 47% of the games (misleading, since a lot of boardgames were lost in moving or stolen by a former gaming group, and most of the card games were excess from peoples collections that I was given [usually for the pretty pictures]), and umpired 23% of the games (also surprisingly high since most of the games have no real capacity for umpiring, although we did have a number of fun boardgames where each side were playing in different rooms and umpires relayed what each side could see to add the Fog of War to a simulation). I also recognized 50% of the authors, although I've only met 7% of them...
