Oh well, the last episode of the current season of the show that I give as my reason to continue existing just aired. That's Chapter 14 of Volume 8 of RWBY for those that don't me. [Sure it's a completely artificial goal, but you need a goal to get through the darker portions of the night, and it serves as well as many and better than most. And I honestly don't really have much else to chose from really.]

A good episode, although it didn't really need the trigger warning that was provided, since everybody expected that it was going to happen anyway. But the previous volume in the cycle echoed by this one dd cause some people to be rather upset. Volume 9 should hopefully be starting in early November, and although CRWBY have said things about this volume I do think they are rather spoilerish by the time you reach this episode.

On a side note apparently my Weiss doll has escaped the JAL embargo on parcels leaving Japan and should be here some time. I may give in and get the Ruby doll as well. Apparently the series didn't do well enough for a Blake or Yang doll. Retail therapy. I suppose it beats buying games that don't end up getting played.

Speaking of good media I really really enjoyed Tribes of Europa. Good story and great characters, such as Moses and Lord Varvara (although I may be saying that because I dated her for a time - or a close facsimile anyway, at least personality-wise [it never would have worked, she was a death-fetishist and I believed myself (in the parlous state of youth) to be immortal]). I really do hope that it gets a Season 2, but we are talking about Netflix (which is rather infamous for not continuing on with shows).

Wanda-vision is over and was quite brilliantly done, and definitely deserves rewatching to catch the spoilers littered through it that you miss the first time around. Olsen and Bettany do a wonderful job in making the appropriate critical slips (that mostly pass unnoticed but which are so informative when you realise what they are). The last season of The Expanse was decent.

Next on the list after Mushoku Tensei is The Irregulars. [MT is a bit creep-inducing, but not as much as a number of other shows this season. The first episode is not bad and it features strong world-building as part of the show, which is something I enjoy even if all the rest is not up to stuff (I can easily ignore the less savoury bits).] Then I might head back to watch the more surreal anime like Urasekai Picnic, unless something else pops up.

They are apparently not reopening the local cinema that showed Chinese films, and the other venues are too far away for me to easily get there and back. The cinema that is reachable tends just to show Indian films as part of its foreign film repertoire. [I decided not to go out today because it hurt too much. I really have to try and get some stuff done before Monday but am finding any excuse to procrastinate and not actually move. Contemplating moving further makes me laugh.] Looks like more DVDs from HK are in my life since none of the streaming services serve Australia. Speaking of which I must get back to watching some more of The rebel princess (on You Tube).

PS: Forgot to add that I'm quite enjoying Debris, manly for the inter-agency shenanigans.

Apart from that, life ... is. Stay well people!
