Public announcement from Brendan Perry: A Message from Dead Can Dance Brendan Perry and Lisa Gerrard have decided to begin work on a new album later this year. To coincide with the albums release in 2012 Dead Can Dance will embark upon an extensive two month world tour including dates in Asia, Australasia and South America...... Their first reunion tour was the second time I was tempted to fly to Europe for a concert (the first being when a virtually unknown Loreena McKennitt was opening Mike Oldfield's big Tubular Bells II concert in Berlin). Unfortunately life was hectic at the time and the only venue that still had tickets available was Riga, and I decided it wasn't worth the bother, and I could catch them later when they were more local. But there was no later. Until now. I just hope I will be able to make the trip now, since I doubt they will play in Adelaide. |
