music for the year that was

OK so I voted in the Triple J Top 100 for 2010. Given that I don't actually listen to Triple J (and generally only discover popular music by accident), and that I had to add most of my entries to the list, I predict that I will get at most 1 song and 1 artist in the top 100. And vaguely disappointed that a lot of my favourites from this year actually came out last year. Anyway, my choices were: Abney Park - Neobedouin Clare Bowditch & The New Slang - Modern Day Addiction Daft Punk - The Game Has Changed Eliza Rickman - Cinnamon Bone Escape The Clouds - The Adventurer Hello Satellite - Out There Rezzalp - In My Dreams The Cog Is Dead - The Copper War Tripod - Ivory Tower Washington - Sunday Best Still, it's not a popularity contest. Wait. You mean it is? Apologies for not being able to find a clip of Tripod and Elana Stone actually playing Ivory Tower but I thought a clip of Bard played on Triple J was appropriate. Also there doesn't appear to be a single copy of In My Dreams anywhere on the net (at least in the usual places). Surprising since it is the titular song of their album. But I hope you'll enjoy the cute kitties in the maze instead.
