Another person has asked me 5 questions and here are their answers. Anyone desiring questions of their own can fill in a comment.

1. the first question is often the hardest to come up with. how do you do it, and what would you ask?

"The first question is often the hardest to come up with. how do you do it, and what would you ask?"

2. Person you'll miss the most, whom you've never actually met?

Hmmmm. Difficult.

Probably Robyn Herrington, a canadian librarian/fan with whom I occasionally corresponded (until work got a bit hectic – I make a lousy casual corespondent). It was rather distressing to read of her death in a recent copy of Ansible. No more care packages of chicos and minties to the Frozen wastes then (I still believe her tales that frozen water falls from the sky in tiny crystals to be highly apocryphal at the very least).

3. favourite villain/bad guy?

But there is so many to choose from! Especially from someone that consistently gets in trouble for cheering the bad guys in panto. [Someone has to!]

I'm of the firm belief that a good competent villain is a neccesity for most stories.

Nope. I don't have a favourite at all.

They are all Champions (of Evil).

4. worst moment in a book?

Page 137 of the Karma Sutra, when I got a cramp in my leg. Very embarrassing.

On a more serious note, I've read so much bad stuff (in an attempt to find the good stuff) that I couldn't really remember (or particularly want to).

5. favourite bollywood damsel, the movie and the moment?

My favourite actress is Aishwarya Rai, for obvious reasons. Although I can't think of any movie or moment that I particularly enjoyed more than any other.

But some of the scenes from Main Hoo Na featuring Sushmita Sen (when she realises that she is falling for Shah Ruhk Khan and vice versa), did leave quite an impression (the nasty thing about Bollywood metaphor is that taking a cold shower afterwards doesn't help).

So maybe I'm just fickle (especially now that Ms Rai is married), or maybe it's simply a case that I now prefer Miss Universe to Miss World.

<grin>

I know. Miss Multiverse has far too many tentacles for my taste...

and miss altiverse is ... well ... a tad more ... alternative ... than works well in a mere four dimensions.
