For what it is worth, I wish to say that David Stratton is an old fuddy-duddy and the movie Cirque du Freak – The Vampire's Assistant is a very solid piece of young adult entertainment that is eminently worthy of having sequels. I will add the disclaimers that I haven't read the source books, so I don't know how true to them the movie remains, and that the term "vampanese" should have been taken out and shot well before they considered including it in the movie.
