Looks like the lead up to the Fringe is going to be as bad for me as the Fringe. Just got the Sessions brochure for the Festival Theatre Space in January:

Fri 6th Jan Hangaii
Mongolian music with rocks and horses in it. Nwomaders might have seen them last year.

Sat 7th Jan Mountain Mocha Kilimanjaro
Whose got the funk? They got the funk. Missed them at the Cabaret festival. Will attempt to see them here.

Wed 11 Jan Sons and Daughters
Reportedly able to out doom Brillig.

Fri 13th Jan The Idea of North
Australia's premiere a capella group. Although Jo Hague is replacing Naomi while she is on maternity leave. [So South Australians now outnumber Canberrans 3 to 2. Although since they are all women it's actually 30 to 2 once you scale in the innate visciousness of that half of the species.]

Fri 20 Jan Julianna Barwick
Loopback vocalist. Like what Xani does in the Twoks, except with voice.

That's ignoring other stuff like Sueno Flamenco, Mike Stewart Big Band, Zephyr Quartet, The Unatural Congress of Still Beating Hearts, Wendy Matthews, Caliente Guitar Trio, and The Baker Suite. But at about $30 a ticket I'm probably not going to be able to see a lot, although 4 shows gets me a 2012 subscriber deal...
