A meme artfully purloined from Post the first sentence of the first journal entry of each month for 2008. January: [Ignoring Memage] On a side note, Adelaide's newest Irish band, Cockeyed Molly, is playing at the Brecknock on Friday from 9pm (free gig). February: [Ignoring Memage] Another excellent Cockeyed Molly gig at the Brecknock. March: Dammit. April: Another computer game I can play for hours. May: Today was a very trying day. June: Judi Miller had a difficult task. July: One of the nastier parts of the d20 GSL [Game System Licence] (Wizards of the Coast's replacement for the d20 OGL [Open Gaming Licence]) is the restrictions on continuing to publish 3rd edition stuff if you want to publish 4th ed stuff. August: [Ignoring Memage] Yay! September: It's been interesting reading Artesia the role-playing game which a friend lent me recently. October: Completed my aquisition of new music for the month. November: Cool. December: Who has choices, need not chose. It does appear I becoming more fluent in Russian. Or at least the Russian approach to grammar whilst speaking English. Judging from this it appears I don't have anything interesting to say at the start of the month. Although, if I was to do this meme properly I'd really have to list the subject of the first entry of each month. Hmmm. January: go ask alice when she's ten feet tall February: i've got to speak to the casting director March: deja vu all over again April: 25 hours is too long for a sunday May: the last one standing when the music stops June: pushing the translator's envelope to the breaking point July: so long #3 August: trees please September: artesia well October: what is the sound of one speaker bleeping November: a day late and a gig short December: <sigh> Which only goes to show that, not only is it a better meme, but my subject headings seem to contain much more valid information than the actual entry itself. Happy Saturnalia everyone. |
